Fota ParkI think I still have to update the blog, wriing about last week end, but first, I'm going to tell about today. This morning Mari brought me to the Fota Park, and aaaah, it was amazing! I felt like a child, and that probably because it was the first time I had been to a zoo! Yeih!! I saw all kind of strange animals! They were so cute! It has been a great day, a part when the collector checked the tickets we didn't have! Ehm... Unfortunately I don't remember all the English names of the animals though! But I taught Mari them in Italian! suggested websitethough I myself don't understand it, the dialect I speak is quite different!
[anche se me an li capisc nenta, el dialect ch'a porl me l'è diferent]. PicsI managed to get almost all the photos, I'll add them in the next few days! Bbq & Goodbye partySaturday
In the morning I fell asleep and then went into town to the open market, where Mariapina and Claudia had a bakery stall, with bread and biscuits. They were happy, cause things were going well and they had sold almost everything! Then I went with Giulia to Tesco, to help her with the shopping for the night and then for breakfast. I came back home and again into town with Mari and Liz; we went to the photography exhibition and [the postcards were not free!] and after we browsed around into some shops, Liz made us taste the cofee cooler -or whatever they're called-, they're so good! And then she joined AnneMarie to the exhibition place. Me [I] and Mari went to buy her new phone, some shoes for her sisters and then her phone went off and it was the lady of the pet shop, to talk about her new job...then we went to look for my dress, I tries it on, but I saw the price and it was 40€! So I bought only a top -which was reduced- and decided to think about the dress and if it is worth a 40. We went home all together -me, Mari, Liz, Anne and Ber- and then I got changed and went to Giulia's for the barbecue. As soon as I closed the door it started to rain! Poor Giulia! But it stopped luckily, so we managed to cook everything anyway! There were a lot of people, Giulia got her Tesco Value shirt. We went then to the Crane Lane but it was 1 so we stayed there only an hour. Then, after talking with almost all the people we met along the way, we went to Giulia's again; but before Yelena and her friend stopped to pee, and I joined them. So the others took a pcture of my pee flowing directly into the manhole...will I ever be ashamed of myself?? At Giulia's we had another dinner, and then I left the others there and came home cause I was wrecked! FridayFriday
The day of my LAST exam! I woke up early but I couldn't have my coffee, because Ber slept on the couch and I didn't want to wake her up. I went to the O'Rahilly and wait there a while, to be called in. I ended up with Ann and Maricarmen, which is supposed to be good, as I have known them since September. They asked me about politics, the Italian, Irish and Spanish one, and this is good, not only one country to talk about! It is a pity that I don't know ANYTHING about politics, I didn't know what to say about the Lisbon Treaty and so on...but then we switched to easier topics, and again another problem, what is a 'mortaja'? The only reason why Turin is famous all over the world. I couldn't think of it, but I realised what the answer was as soon as I got outside the building! UF! Apart from that I think I didn't do too bad, but immediately after I went home to sleep! In the afternoon I went to the library to sell the book [for cash you have to come on Friday...ok...then, no, no, it is only on Thursday for cash!] and say goodbye to Kristyna. Then my housemates asked me to go to the cinema and watch Sex and the City-the movie. So I headed down there with Mari to join the others, but when we arrived the tickets were sold out, and the man told us to go back for the half-eleven show. In the meantime we went to Captain America's, as Liz still had to have her dinner, but we finished at 11 and wanted to go for a drink instead than to the cinema. So I suggested the Franciscan Well, as I had been told some of my friends were there. I was a bit annoyed by my lens, it hurt and I couldn't see properly. In fact, I didn't spot them. I met Veronika into the bathroom but I didn't realised thay were all together. I saw them -or, rather, they saw me- when we were going home. I was so tired I did't feel like staying more and so I follow my housemates at home. |
